1. Warranty Scope

This Warranty applies to stock Fuel Pump Assemblies, Electric Fuel Pumps, and High-Performance Pumps sold by walbrofuelpumps.com.

1.1 Stock Fuel Pump Assemblies and Marine / Industrial Pumps: These pumps shall carry a 1-year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase.

1.2 High-Performance Pumps: These pumps carry a 60-day Limited Warranty from the date of purchase. Please note that these pumps, providing higher fuel flow than the original equipment unit to support increased vehicle performance, are sold without warranty after the initial 60-day period.

1.3 Return of Unopened New Pumps/Kits: Returns on unopened pumps or kits are accepted within 30 days from the date of purchase with a 15% restocking fee. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

2. Warranty Details

Subject to the terms and conditions detailed in this Warrantywalbrofuelpumps.com warrants that every new pump shall be free from defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period. This warranty lasts for the duration specified above, starting from the date of purchase.

The Warranty does not apply, and shall be void for pumps that are:

Altered by any party.
Not installed according to our provided instructions.
Subject to misuse, abuse, negligence, or operating conditions other than those for which such pump was designed and intended.
Used in an unapproved application or vehicle.
Installed in a vehicle where regular preventive maintenance recommended by the vehicle manufacturer was not performed as and when recommended.
Deemed by walbrofuelpumps.com, in its sole judgment, to be defective as a result of contamination due to rust, dirt, debris, or agents found in the system.
Deemed by walbrofuelpumps.com, in its sole judgment, to be defective as a result of external corrosion.
Sold or supplied by an entity other than walbrofuelpumps.com.

3. Warranty Claim Process

1. Initiation of Claim

Should you encounter an issue with a product purchased from walbrofuelpumps.com within the warranty period, contact our customer service team immediately. Provide details about the issue, including your order number, and a description of the problem.

2. Sending the Product for Testing

Once the claim is initiated, the pump needs to be sent for testing to determine the cause of failure. Please send the faulty pump and the original bill of purchase to:

The pump should be packaged carefully to prevent further damage during transit. Please note that the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

3. Testing and Determination

Upon receipt of the pump, it will be tested by our technical team to determine the cause of failure. This process may take 30-40 days.

If it is determined that the failure is due to a manufacturing defect, the pump will be covered by our warranty policy. However, if the failure is found to be due to improper installation, misuse, or any other conditions that void the warranty as mentioned in our warranty policy, the warranty will not apply.

4. Communication of Decision

Once the testing is completed and a decision is made, we will contact you to inform you of the result. If the pump is covered by the warranty, we will arrange for a replacement or refund, as appropriate.

If the pump is not covered by the warranty, we will provide you with an explanation.

5. Replacement or Refund

If the pump is covered by the warranty, we will ship a replacement pump to you. Alternatively, at our sole discretion, we may choose to refund the purchase price of the pump. The cost of shipping the replacement pump to you will be borne by walbrofuelpumps.com.

Product Descriptions and Discrepancies

6.2 It is the responsibility of the buyer to review the product description and specifications before purchasing. If you are unsure about any product details, please contact our customer service for clarification prior to making a purchase.

6.3 Discrepancies between the product received and its description on our website, which are due to minor updates, enhancements, or variations in product appearance, will not be considered as grounds for an "item not as described" dispute.

 

Reporting Discrepancies

7.1 If you believe you received a product that is significantly different from its description on our website, you must report this to our customer service team within 7 days of receiving the product.

7.2 All reports must be accompanied by clear evidence of the discrepancy, such as photographs, to support your claim.

7.3 Upon reviewing the evidence, if it's deemed necessary, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No returns will be accepted without a valid RMA number.

7.4 The product must be returned in its original, unused condition with all accompanying materials, including packaging, manuals, and any accessories. Items that show signs of use, installation, or damage will not be eligible for return based on "item not as described" claims.

7.5 Reports made after 7 days will not be entertained.
